Do they stay zero'd?

I've owned my encore for a few years, and I have an old contender..But I have never really shot them much.  I really want to start getting into it this year(it happens to be coincidence that I got on a deer lease for the first time in 3 years too).

So, I'm looking at getting some barrels for my encore.  Do they stay zero'd after you remove them from the frame and place them back?  I'm really interested in getting a handful of barrels for playing, calibers that are cheap and easy to reload for...my only worry is that I will be using it as my hunting gun this year.

The Contenders do stay zeroed IME.  When I shot IHMSA silhouette I changed barrels all the time and never had to sight in again.  For deer hunting, as long as there is nothing wrong with the barrel/frame - excess slop in the hinge pin, bad locking bolts, oil in the action - you should not see any difference.
