My New Guns.
« on: July 02, 2009, 05:57:28 PM »
Well for a while I’ve thought about selling my 45-70 scoped handi to buy a buffalo classic. Well I eventually decided, after reloading this cartridge, that I like the 45- 70 (especially with the trail boss powder). So I decided to just buy a buffalo classic, so I picked up one today. I also traded a Yugoslavian sks for a marlin 336w with Simmons scope, which I plan on switching to peep sights.

Ya done good ;D  I wouldn't want to own just a BC, that's a lot of rifle to run around the woods with.  I traded two SKSs when I bought my first Handi and my .357 Blackhawk, and never looked back.

I traded a yugo sks for my .223 handi.  I guess they are in demand now.  I got more out of it than I had in it.  And I had reblued, restocked, and replaced the entire gas system with tapco stuff.
