One simple question will a Marlin in a 45lc lever handle my Ruger loads like 20gr of 2400 with a 250gr bullet that I shoot while hunting?  ???  TIA Nim

OK no one wants to answer that one :o so lets ask it a diffrent way. anyone out there have some loads that they would like to share with everyone that they use in there Marlin? O and I would like to use only 250, 255 gr lead bullets{tire weights} TIA Nim

Yes the Marlin will handle Ruger level .45 Colt loads just fine.

Bill is right on with the answer.  The Marlin with take Ruger/TC level loads that you find everywhere.  I have taken it up a couple of notches for some guns chambered in 454 Casull and wouldn't put those in a Marlin 1894.  DP
