We had two in the Memphis area that are now closed.  Don't know about the rest of the country.

The SW store here was still open a couple weeks ago under the same name, they're one of those bought by the Canadian outfit, they still had no new stock in yet tho!!! :-\

SW still shows stores open on their website. They also show the stores that closed and those that were sold.

Sportsman's Warehouse is going through chapter 11.  Sportsman's Warehouse had 68 stores, most of them west of the Mississippi, and 15 were lost to a Canadian investor, 24 have been closed, and 29 remain open.

Sportsman's Warehouse is struggling as it try's to secure products to sell during the process.

What a fine company, it's a shame to see it have problems like this.

I sure hope they make it.

Finally got ahold of the one in Phoenix. They changed the number. They are still pretty decimated with loading items and firearms.Hopefully they can hang on. I am no big fan of Cabela's [prices. Nice place to kick the tires tho.

just got back from Fairbanks, and going to Sportsman's Warehouse.  They have started getting supplies in this week.  They got a shipment of ammo in and I was finally able to get a box of .360 S&W shells.  The shelves are not so barren now.  They are trying to restock before the troops return from Iraq, and they get swamped by customers.  The troops are due to start returning in the next two weeks.  It will take several weeks before they are all back.  And they are all going to want to go fishing and getting ready for the fall hunting that starts 10 August.  That's only seven weeks away folks.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.
