Let's see.... $134 billion in U.S. bonds is alot of cabbage; usually only the domain of governments to have that kind of loose change laying around.  So this time we need to know if this is counterfeit or real bonds and who are these couriers working for and where was it going in 'neutral' Switzerland.....

TM7, I agree. The face value of the bonds is so large that counterfeiting seems illogical. Fake $20 bills exchange easy; fake $1000 bills don't. Same concept writ large.

Just heard that today, that they were fake. Something real fishy about this, as TM mentioned. This large of a bond would bound to be checked out far closer than a smaller one. EXCEPT, if it was counterfeited by our own govt. If caught, we can claim it was counterfeited. Show the original. BUT, if not caught, deposit the counterfeit,then, destroy the original. Dept of Treasury has issued formal comment, so they believe the story. WSJ, Barrons, O'Reilly, Fox, CNN, AP Wire have all carried the story.

What i said was i was beginning to believe the whole thing was fake because
i wasn't hearing anything on it. Now you want me to believe that it is Fox news
that is holding things up, their are several News reporting agencies, in case you
havn't checked, i am betting you will never get them all to go for them same
game. Since this is a youtube presentation am i to believe we should believe it.

I still think think these were duplicates, not counterfiets. Caught, like they were, govt. can claim counterfiet, we still have the real ones. If they wouldn't have been caught, deposit them in the Swiss bank, the real ones here still in the U.S. could be moved out or destroyed before checking out the facts. Smells like coruption at the highest level. gypsyman
