Pro Hunter Forearm?
« on: June 13, 2009, 03:18:35 PM »
I am wanting to know if a pro hunter forearm for centerfire rifles will work with the standard 24 in. barrels.  I have the 28 in. 243 win. barrel and I found a used standard 280 rem. barrel and I just need to know if the pro hunter forearm will work for both.
Thanks

From what I've been told, the Pro Hunter forend will work just fine with the 24" tapered barrels.

I changed my pro hunter 28 for a 24 and have had no problem. I have 3 -24 inch tapered and the forend works just fine.

This is a Pro-Hunter #1870 FlexTech with a 24" .17 HMR #4286 barrel.
The forearm fits just fine. ;D
