Evangelical Group Banned From Tulsa Housing Projects

Anybody or group keeping a tally of Constitutional Violations? I'd be curious to see how many ACLU cases were won, how many were in defense of a conservative or Christian organization, and if the trend in violation is increasing since Jan 2009. There seems to be an increasing sense of empowerment at the community level among low level policy makers to violate civil rights of what used to be called the "majority."

You can bet that there has been zero cases where the ACLU has backed any Christian organization. The ACLU hates Christianity and would love to have it removed from society. Christians are anti socialists and anti Communist. This is why Christians are the ACLU's enemy. Stalin once said that if America's Patriotism, morality, and spiritual life can be undermined, America will collapse from within. It seams to me this is what the ACLU has been trying to do all along.

PROVIDENCE, RI - The American Civil Liberties Union of Rhode Island today announced the favorable settlement of its lawsuit on behalf of a Christian prisoner who has been barred since 2003 from preaching during Christian religious services at the state prison.

The ACLU of Southern California (2008) filed suit on behalf of members of a faith-based charity organization after park rangers threatened to arrest the members for serving hot meals and distributing Bibles to the homeless on Doheny State Beach.

The ACLU of Louisiana (2008) filed a brief before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit supporting an individual's right to quote Bible verses on public streets in Zachary, Louisiana.

The ACLU and the ACLU of Texas(2008) filed a friend-of-the-court brief in the Texas Supreme Court in support of mothers who had been separated from their children by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS). The DFPS seized more than 450 children from their homes in Eldorado, Texas following vague allegations about child abuse by some members of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

dukkillr, So I was wrong about zero cases. I don't know why they choose to side with Christians in these cases. The fact is the ACLU was founded by a bunch of communists, and still carry those tendencies. Why is it everytime a kid in school says a prayer the ACLU is right there to object. Just two days ago at Pace high school in Flordia 400 students recited the Lords Prayer. The ACLU objected saying any religous statements should be censored. The ACLU filed a lawsuit against the school six months ago for things like the athlectic director being asked to Bless a meal at a dinner. What about the ACLU wanting the Ten Commandments removed from differant buildings. Obvouisly you see the ACLU as something I don't.
