Growing up in the beer business with my parents, all thru the '60's,'70's and mid '80's, PBR was at one time, the number one beer here in the Toledo area. My dad got a tap box when I was about 14, so always had a keg on tap. My dad always said I could have a beer, as long as I wasn't going anywhere. But, if I remember right, mid to late '70's, PBR changed their reciepe, and taste went to hell. I switched over to Busch. (about $10 cheaper a keg, than Bud) The last time I had PBR, I was one the road at a gun show, picked up a 6 pack to go back to the motel room. They must have switched back to their old reciepe, as it tasted like the old stuff, went down pretty smooth. As of right now, have a keg of Honey Brown on tap. Fact is, I think I hear it calling me know!!gypsyman
