Hello all! I had a great day fishing. I won't repost the pics here since I put pics under the Montana Pics post and the Fishing General Discussion forum. The season is off to a great start! Anybody else have fish tales to share?

Good Afternoon Montana!

Great job on the fish, Pab1.

Still off and on rain here in NE Wisconsin. Weekend was beautiful though.

Took my .223 and new loads to the range this weekend. Little Remington 700 Tactical out-shot me by a mile. Had some really nice small groups going and then I'd get all excited and pull one to the left or the right. Definitely was me doing it too and not the loads or the rifle. I knew immediately that some shots were going to go wild just by the way I pulled the trigger. I did however, manage to get one tiny little 5 shot group of .194 - so there is hope for me. ;) That one felt good - probably like Pab1 when he caught the whale. ;)

Today I adjusted the pull weight of the trigger down to around 2.5 pounds (from about 6 pounds). I'm hoping that will help me from at least pulling some shots to the right.

Whats the weather like in Montana?  If you ain't here, then I'm sorry for your bad luck.  Perfection, thy name is Montana.  Oh, by the way, the rattlers are out in force now.  One of my workers daughter was walking in Two Moon Park and one fell out a tree ??? onto the foot path.  Never saw one in a tree unless there was a flood around it.  Kept striking so the girl froze and her friend called Billings finest and they came and killed it.  Girl wasn't hurt, just scared silly.  DP
