Rugs' Back.....

Hi All,

Just got my rug back from my September 2008 hunt at the Oxbow in Maine.  Here's a few picks.  Wifee hated the border, I had alot of choices....don't know what I was thinking.  Also, this is the skull...first I had done...

I gotta agree with the wife that border really is kinda out there. Ya could have made a better choice.  ;D

+1.  What kinda manly man gets his bear done with ruffles along the edge?  Just kidding.  Great bear and good for you.  How was it on the grill?

C'mon you guys...gotta git in touch with your feminine side.  ;D

Teddy...I actually didn't realize there'd be a ruffle at all.  My last rug that was ruined and I sold had a flat border.  Did a crock pot stew....deeelish!

Red...didn't measure it...looks small to me, but I will maybe tonight and I'll repost.  I'll measure both BC and SCI (I'm SCI certified and have the calipers, but have the B&C measuring guide as well).

I'm going back to Wild Country Outfitters this year. August 29th heading to Maine and hunting on the 31th, God willing.

It is a struggle this year to come up with the money, the wife is going with me. She wants a trip away from home. She won't be hunting, just enjoying the views up north.

Times are getting tough.

You're right about that.  I can hardly believe that she's starting to crawl.  I really can't imagine the days when guys show up on the door, or she leaves for school or any of that kind of stuff.  I really enjoy her as a baby though.
