Looks like it would clean up ok, but you'd have part of the rim cut left and a longer neck in the chamber, but it should still work. If it's an ejector barrel, you have to modify it for rimless ejection.

I think a .307 Win. would be a better choice.

I agree, the 307W would be a better choice unless you just had to have the 300S!!  ;D
