Good Morning Montana - May 20, 2009
« on: May 20, 2009, 02:15:42 AM »
Well good morning everyone.... coffee is on, and I'm going to get ready for work.

Yesterday, I spent money on some arrows finally and you can see them posted up in the Archery section.  My Mathews Drenalin bow finally cost me some money so to speak, or I should say my arrow sponsor some money.  I guess I should get some blunts or judo points and start using gophers for target practice now.

You all have a good day.

Clear blue skies, partially cloudy, rain showers temperatures in the 50's we had it all today.

Planted broccoli, cauliflower, beets and romaine lettuce this morning.  Sanded on the cannon carriage, then ran up to Southpaws and did some bead blasting on the cannon barrel.  Southpaw also had the shackles he welded up for me.

You quys are going to like the bowling ball mortar Southpaw is building

Quit a change from yesterday here in Billings.  Hit 92 here yesterday, not sure if it got to 62 today.  Don't want to hot, the rivers are getting high now, need the snow to stay in the mountains for a lot longer.  Weatherman said it will get into the 70's for the weekend, may have to get started on a new fence around the back yard. :P  Rather go shoot or camp or fish.  Got my Sportsmans without black bear and all the other with fall turkey, cost me 83.50.  Time to go eat, night all.  DP

Currently 35 , it rained , hailed , snowed , this evening . nice spring day .

Pieces for mortar base cut and  held in place with magnets .... compenplating  trunion mounts . Sort of a piece @ a time puzzle project . Lots of thinking time , measured twice , cut 3 times , still too short sort of project . ::)
Base wheels are from a double run end wheel 1940's IHC grain drill . sort of nifty looking cool wheels . It's the advantage of having 100 years accumulation of junk over the hill .( well ok , only 99 years , will be a century farm in 2010. )
