Remington 700 223 with targets
« on: May 19, 2009, 07:05:13 AM »
This is my set of targets that i made with the rem 700 223. The first 3 top targets from left to right were me dialing in the scope as it was  my friends rifle. The bottom 3 were 9 shots total. The bottom left target there are only 2 holes, not sure where the 3rd shot went, but i like to think that i shot into the same hole. Click on the pic for a better view.

Nothing wrong with that at all.  Good shooting! Aside from being a 700, what model was it?  VTR, BDL, etc?

I have to say I take insult to that. I am a huge fan of Remington 700'S. I will leave it at that though. Dale

+1  I don't think there was any harm in asking.  Maybe it was just taken the wrong way somehow?

+1 - Jumping to conclusions without having thoroughly read the previous post with comprehension and understanding - the court finds Guilty - judgment has been rendered - case closed - pay the fine Dale and don't let it happen again. ;)

Trendy411, nice shooting. What distance were the groups shot at?

I'm not sure what else you could have read into it.  I was simply asking what variant of model 700 he was using and complimenting him on some fine shooting.  Apology accepted, but Dang!

Whatever model 700 it is - its a good shooter! I have three 700s in .223 and two are great shooters - LTR and SPS Varmint. The 3rd? I still have not got around to firing the VLS Thumbhole stainless I bought last Oct! Have not even removed the scope mount screws! But , I do have a nice set of Warne bases ;D and a Bushnell 6X-24X sitting in box. One of these days!

Don't be surprised if it ends up being the best shooter of the 3!
