Good morning Montanan, MT_Sourdough, dpe, Southpaw, Forster, Atlaw, pab1, newstart2k, Skunk, kitchawan kid, lurker, CJ, Bilmac, thxmrgarand, Syncerus, Mcwoodduck, Brennemanj83, Old Shooter,TY22, Canon6, burntmuch, Grimjim, CJ, Bilmac, rparsons934 wis_sharpshooter, BBF and Blue Duck.

It's 41 degrees and partially cloudy.  It was spitting rain when I let the dogs out this morning about at 7 am.  It's 8:30 now and the sky has cleared off.  It's looking to be a beautiful day to day.

The grass needs to be cut. I probably will plant the vegetable garden this morning.  Who knows what else I'll do.  I'll report tomorrow.

Yesterday I built chain holders for trunnion cap keys the cannon carriage and them I painted the carriage.   Southpaw is building me some shackles...he has welding equipment, I don't.  Okay he knows how to weld, I know how to melt metal.  Doesn't create the same effect. Effect.  Those shackles will finish out the carriage.    All that's left now on the cannon project is to bead blast and paint the barrel and rig the tackle.  Smoke and fire will follow.

Sunny but windy... the rest of the week is 'spose to just get worse.   :(  Including the long weekend!   >:(  Looks like I'll never get to the range again!   :'(

I might have to start going to an indoor range so I can at least shoot my handguns.   :-\

Its getting too hot here.  Last night, I had to sleep with the fan blowing on me.   I'll say this right now, we usually get a lot of rain in May and early June.  Things are getting real dry.  If we dont get plenty of earth soaking moisture soon, we could be getting into an ugly summer.
Here in Missoula, smoke from forest fires will lay down in this valley and get so bad that you cant see 50 yards in front of you.  The smoke will burn in your lungs if you do any physically exerting stuff outside.  At such times, people ride around town on bicycles wearing resperators.  Mowing their lawns with resperators. Public warnings are posted that seniors and children should remain indoors.  And this can go on for a month or so.
Anyways, thats just a thought that I have bouncing around in my noggin.

Good day everybody

well, its gonna rain any minute now, but not enough to impact the dry conditions and it appears that there is little percipitation in the extended forcast.

Old Shooter ...No problem , just need a bigger patch   ::)
My good neighbor Don is an expert on patching the patches that were patches . Nothing that a spool of wire can't fix  ;)
