Help with Forend Spacer
« on: May 16, 2009, 12:24:06 PM »
I bought a set of replacement stocks.  When I put the new forend on, the spacer stuck out a bit on the left.  I exchanged the spacers on the factory and replacement forends.  With the factory spacer,it sticks out half as much on the right. Not unuseable, but not flush.  Is there a trick to getting this right?

Sounds like the screw holes were drilled wrong in the forend, drill em out so you can glue a dowel in them, then drill new pilot holes to center the spacer.
