Richard, you wouldn't believe it....two cars a day and both are Canadians going down to the U.S. post office to pick up their mail. I have worked those ports.  There are a bunch of them across the northern border that were opened by presidential decree back in 1920's to allow cross border traffic during the oil boom.  It takes a Presidential decree to close them.

I heard a local farmer a couple years ago, go on a tirade about closing one of these ports.  He got real angry at the thought that he would have to drive 50 miles out of his way to go to Canada, something he did at least twice a year.

Man, I can remember my long hair days and the hours spent crossing the border with dogs on leashes going through our car and our car seats laying on the ground.  Those were the good ol'days. 8)  No, I am not implying that I was doing anything illegal, I reckon I just looked like I was.
Well enough about that, ugh, ugh.  Today, my girlfriend wanted to check out some of the campsights up Jonsrud Recreation Corridor.  In case you dont know, Jonsrud is a long section of the Blackfoot River that winds through a canyon area that is all public land, providing a great amount of easy public access to a beautiful section of that river.  The section is great for tubin' and in the summer, can sometimes look like a floatilla of sun burnt humanity.   Other times, a person can find themselves quite alone on a beautiful piece of water.
I didnt see any elk today, but never really set out to anyways.  I still saw plenty of Mulies and Whitetail.  There were a couple Marmot sightings as well as a real close encounter with a big bald Eagle.
Tomorow, we are going to do some fishing and some shooting.
I hope you all have a great day tomorow.

Ya, it's a lot of money, :-[ but ya otta see the hooter they will have there Richard. :o  If they would just split that 7 million with all us GBO members in Montana, we would stimulate the economy better than any plan coming outa Washington. ;)  70's here in Billings today and is to get to the 80's next couple of days.  Have a great weekend everybody, gonna get my pontoon boat ready for fishin tomarrow and if enough time after she's ready to go, may go to the range and bust some rocks.  DP
