i picked up a rem 1100 synthetic slug gun with two barrels for a good price.where should i start with slugs?

If it's a smooth bore, mine prefers Sluggers over Federal and Winchesters...

Like any rifled barrel you will really have to try different loads (ammo) to see what it likes but my rifled Remington barrel for my 870 shot the Remington Copper slug ammo into about 2" at 100 yards scoped with ease. I never bothered to try any other.

 i was thinking rem copper solids,winchester partition to start with. i have been hunting with a rifle for over 20 years. my state you can't hunt on sunday but the state next to me you can but it is a shotgun state only. i know the guys in shotgun states put a lot time and money to see what shoot's the best.

You may want to try the Win. BRI's and the Lightfields also. My 1100 likes both with the edge going to the BRI's.
