So often we hear some "dim bulb' folks say they really appreciate today's "Il Duce" for his speech making ability. They are very gullible; just keep this in mind, his speeches are written for him. ::)
I have a voluminous speaking voice, one gets practice as a platoon sgt.. ;) ;D These days, one of my regular assigned duties at our church is
reading the Scriptures to the congegation in the sanctuary. My reading voice is such that I step away from the microphone to do it.
Folks are always remarking how clearly, precisely and effectively I speak and how they appreciate the emphasis I put on important passages.

JUST REMEMBER THIS..I did not write the Scripture ;).... I only read it !

Just keep that in mind whenever you hear some dough-head swoon over Obama's "eloquence" ! :o :D ;D  ..And notice how lost he is when the teleprompter is not in view... ;D ;D

IG, the difference is that what you are saying has meant something for about 5,000 years and will be just as meaningful 5,000 years from now. What the Big 0 has to say may not mean anything when it passes his lips.

I was surprised that he didn't spend more time in his press conference on how he set us up for high inflation, weakened our position with our enemies, spent large amounts of money on unproductive and unaccounted for activities, while weakening our national defense, raising taxes, initiating unprecedented deficit spending based on borrowing from lenders who are becoming impatient with the US, pushing a massive wave of uncertainty through businesses and investors that has dropped the GDP over 6% in Q1 2009, brought terrorist pirates into the sphere of the US courts, fortified the argument that the US now has a history of torturing prisoners, unsuccessfully and expensively attempted to cease market forces by freezing the economy in place, punished sound financial businesses by rewarding incompetent ones, and polarizing the country in a way that even GW Bush couldn't do. Man, what an accomplishment for the first 100 days.

He makes GW Bush look good already, and I didn't like Bush at all because of his crazy spending.

Obama can't speak without the teleprompter. What does that tell you?
I prefer someone who speaks the truth. Straight from the heart.
Never liked Obama before and I sure don't like him now. He's taking us down the road to TOTAL  DESTRUCTION. :'(
And it's only been 100 days.

I will give the Kenyan credit for being a good reader and sometimes a good, but agonizingly boring speaker.  It's just that what he reads and says most of the time is BS.  The rest of the time it is lying and he's real good at that too.

I, uh, think President Obama is a uh, very good reader but, uh, not so good when it comes to, uh, communicating when  he doesn't have a, uh, pre-written text to, uh, recite from.
Kind of like a great many actors.

Anyone remember Adolph Hitler, an Austrian born German politician, great speaker and motivator of people.  I see Obama as a wannabe, and fear that some of his ideas may lead us in the same direction that the German people suffered.

As with Hitler, Mussolini, Tojo, Idi Amin, Mao, Pol Pot and so many others, it seems all leaders with a "super-ego" and infatuated with themselves..easily turn into a dictator/tyrant.

I am an excellent public speaker.  I did so well in my speech class in college that my professor still invites me back every year to give a speech to her class.  The point I am trying to make is anyone can become a good public speaker.  Obama is nothing more than a good reader.  He pauses in the right places for emphasis, appears to make eye contact, which isn't hard to do with a little practice, and his volume rises and falls in all the right places.  Take away his well prepared speeches, the teleprompter, and the training and you have nothing more than a puppet.  I'm not fooled by his speeches, and anyone who has ever had training in public speaking shouldn't be either.

I have never been impressed with his speeches. Oh sure, compared to Bush
his delivery is much better, but when I listen to what he actually is saying it
makes me want to vomit! So many people are fooled by this fraud. I hope
they wake up some day before it's too late.

I have always found his speeches "guarded".  What he tries to convey is not supported by his body language.  He would be a good radio personality but in person you can tell he's a lying sack of S__T.
If I agreed with you then we would both be wrong.

I've also noticed that Obama speaks in very vague generalities.  This make it easy for people to make their own interpretations and hear what they want to hear.  He's very good at it.

Say what you wanna about "W". And I dont mean you dissed him Bob.

When he spoke it was not ever pomp and circumstance! He might have missed pronounced a few words but not nearly as much as the leftist media(and leftist comedians) said he did. He spoke like he would speak if he was speaking/ typing right here! And like his politics or not he spoke in a manner that I respected.

Can't say that about the bamster! without the teleprompter he makes "W" look like FDR

I know one thing about Osama's speaking.  It makes my stomach churn every time I hear it. So I really don't try to listen to it much.

Obama has a pretty convenient situation going.  He can speak (I mean to say READ his speech that someone else wrote)using the flowing, vague, and lofty rhetoric and come off sounding inspirational and reasonably moderate. He keeps the naive zombies happy.
Meanwhile his lefty gremlins and the liberal media are busy with the REAL agenda - gutting our constitution, economic system, and heritage.

If it's not on the teleprompter, he's lost.  Yet the masses, and the media, look past that.  ::)

Yea, he gets real mad when someone with "The Audacity Of Hope" and 1/2 a brain
would dare to even ask him a legitimate question and not only that, demand a real
answer to it! He is so used to having everything his way his whole life that it flips
his wig that anyone would dare to question him on anything. His boyfriends in the
media totally protect him in this regard though, so it rarely happens or gets any air
play. When it does though, on very rare occasions, it's a sight to behold. ;D
