Ah the Savage 99! Be still my beating heart! One of my favorite rifles of all time.
I have been wanting a 99 for a long time and have been keeping my eye on
them on Gunbroker.com Prices on 99's have shot through the roof in the past
couple of years. I'm assuming it's a 300 Savage caliber. I have seen mint old
school 99's selling for well over $2000. I hope to get one someday, but I
could never afford one as nice as yours must be. I just want one that has
a good bore and no rust.

This one looks like NIB, fit and finish is ABSOLUTELY emaculate and is fancy wood, scnable fore-end, cut checkering, rotary mag, and all the other features..........................now I don't know what to do with it...........it's too 'purdy' and valueable to hunt with...I guess I'll just take it to the range and shoot reduced loads in it...................I'll have to keep my eye out for a 'lesser' one for hunting.

P.S. I paid ALLOT less than $2000.00USD for it.

Thanks for the input!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
