scope for a 30-30

i have a 30-30 handirifle with low leupold rings and a 4x bsa scope..if i go to a 2x7 leupold , or a 3x9 leupold, will the hammer clear..i could get a 1.75 x 5 bushnell, but the bell looks toobig..any suggestions?

Mine does!!!

I LOVE the lupy 2x7 VXII or vari X II scopes!!!!  I have one on almost every handi I own!! My preferred scope ring is either a PRW LO-Matt or a WARN Maxi-ma LO-Matt.
Here is the Leupold PRW rings.

i've got a vxII on a 357 handi with medium rings,plenty of room,could probably go to low rings.....gotta love those leupolds

Can't go wrong with the Warn rings.. I've got a tall set on my 30/30 handi  with a Nikon Pro Staff 3-9 scope and factory mounts..

Get youself a Nikon Prostaff 2-7X32 and some med. Weaver rings.
