New .357 Mag. Barrel
« on: April 17, 2009, 10:33:06 AM »
My new .357 Mag. barrel came in today from Doublebass73.  I had it unpacked and on my 7mm-08s frame inside of 5 minutes; locked up perfectly.  I set 5 water filled jugs ranging in size from a gallon to 12 oz. out at 60 yards.  Smacked all of them with one shot dead center with open sights resting on the porch rail.  Ya gotta remember, I have a hard time with open sights.  I've got a shooter again.  Thank you David Mitchell!!!!!  It'll be on its own stock and frame, and scoped by Tuesday.

I thank everyone here for their help and constructive comments.  You're a great bunch!!

Congratulations Pete, and all the best with the new .357. Keep your eyes and ears open buddy, and just listen, you may get lucky with that stolen gun.....<><....:)
