Handi rifle barrels

Please excuse the ignorance.
I am a gross newbe to the handi rifle, I ordered my first one last week.
I thought I did my homework pretty good but read a post that has me scratching my head.
The info I read stated the additional barrel had to be fitted at the factory , so that is the way I ordered it
In the post you were talking about fitting the barrels yourselves.
I this acceptable in the higher power barrels? I had hoped to buy more barrels at a later date but was stoped by having to ship it back to the factory each time .

The rifle is in .223 with a second barrel in 30-06
I ordered it from a local gunshop.
Said he would call when everything confirmed
With the way things are right now I am not holding my breath

That makes me ask the question ? If you order a new gun from a gun dealer . Can he order from the factory a 223 w/a 30/06 bbl also? Or does he order that way from a distributor and they can get them that way .Or are they ordering the 223 getting it... then shipping it to the factory and having the 30/06 bbl fitted for you then selling you the gun with the combo bbl's? Dealers can only order complete firearms from distributors, then the frame would need to be sent to Ilion for additional barrels by the dealer as a customer just like you would, unless the firearm comes as a combo which doesn't apply to the 30-06/223.
