.204 Hornady factory accuracy
« on: April 12, 2009, 01:04:00 PM »
I have been hearing rumors lately about the .204 Hornady factory accuracy.  I have been using the 32gr V-max with good MOAs. Can anyone out there help me as to their results using the same?

I use the same as does my buddy.
We both have standard Handys.
Mine will pretty much keep 5 under a dime at 100 and my buddies will do almost as good.
That load has shot so good in ours that we haven't even bothered to try anything else.
I also have two ultras that I will soon be trying.
Hope I have the same luck in one or both of them.

My Ultra .204 does not like the factory Hornady ammo.  See my range report that I recently posted.  Decent groups at 100 meters but the POA immediately shifted down from the handloads I dialed in.  Kind of all over the paper at 200 meters with factory ammo.
