If you buy the sporter model, the checkered stock, without the barrel band, selling the stock is a very good possibilty...

I just bought a new sporter stock for $75.00. There wouldn't be a reason to buy the standard stock.

The barrel I wouldn't know about.

I have several of them that I decided not to bother selling.  I watched them sit on flea bay and get pennies.  The only ones that I saw sell were factory target barrels and the original walnut stocks.

You will never be able to shoot out a 10-22 barrel.  The rest will be junk by then.

Just a reminder: classifieds are not allowed on a discussion forum, either for sale or want to buy.

You cannot shoot out a .22 LR barrel. You could shoot a 1000rnds a day for 50 years and never hurt it. Now the way you clean it will have a dramatic effect on a LR barrel's life. The barrels on old .22 that look bad are not from shooting it but from lack of good care. Now as far as selling the stock and barrel, the barrel you'll have no problem selling. Go to rimfirecentral.com/forums. There are some that have the stock barrel cutback and rechambered to a Bentz chamber then recrown the barrel. They say it'll keep up with most any bull barrel.
