Prices on new: Sig P226 and P226 DAK
« on: April 02, 2009, 05:58:09 PM »
With the nations panic mode,  prices on guns and ammo has risen drastically. My local dealer (Hawaii) quoted me $950.00 on a Sig P226 and $900.00 on a P226 DAK. I know for a fact I could have gotten it alot less  a year ago. Can anyone tell if that's the nations going rate in your state or am I am crazy to pay that price if I decide to purchase it. Thanks to all who responds............

Those prices for a New plain jane 226 with rail are not higher than usual. They've fetched close to that amount for decades if I remember correctly. Doesn't matter what caliber it is, they are what they are. They might have jumped 25 - 50.00 but that's nothing terrible when you compare it to an AR15 and their prices that skyrocketed recently  :o
