what barrel you like the most

it hit me today that i have way too many handi barrels and i dont really have a favorite. so i wanted to know what you all like.

the question: this isn't one of those if you only had one gun type questions , let just say that you had every barrel NEF has what one would you liike shooting the most? i'm going to put some of my favorites in the to start it off , if i miss your favorite just go ahead and shout it out.

45/70 is my favorite..
or is it my .308 survivor, maybe my hornet....naaah! 7.62x39 hmmmmm!, versa-pac !

I went with the 204.

I would have went with the 45-70 but I have that caliber in a couple of old WINCHESTERS I like to shoot better.(1885 High Wall-1886 Takedown)

And you left out the 35 Whelen,7x57,7x64 Brenneke not to mention the wildcats, 445 Super Mag,357 Max,454 Casual,225 Win.

My little .357 Mag. is right up there with my .45-70.  It too is super accurate and versatile.  I wouldn't be without either one.

I am not equating barrels to our children, but the question is similar to being asked the question, which of your children do you like best?, it cannot be honestly answered, especially with a single word, answer, or choice....<><....:)

I like the 357 reamed to Max barrel the best. It is just plain fun to shoot. I can plink with 38 Specials or step it up a bit with 357 Mag for pest control and if I want to go for heavier stuff (deer), the 357 Max.

Since I have them all except the 22 Rem Jet and 7x57mm ... first is the 7.62x39mm ... second is the 30-30 ... third is the 444 Marlin ... because they are my most accurate.

I agree, the .357 should be on the list, it is certainly a MUCH better choice than some on that list, and, H&R makes a .357!!!....<><....:)

I didn't vote as my selections where not listed. ::) :o ;D

 I also first thought you wanted barrel choice. (IE PROFILE) That would be the 308 survivor. I like its contour second to none, short and stiff, its a really good functional and accurate profile.
 But then in reading, I think you where really looking for CALIBER choices. That choice would be my 357MAXI, HANDS DOWN!!!

Your list is DEFINEAYTELY lacking some proprietary handi chamberings!!!  NO 357Mag or 30-30 Winchester are you nuts??? ::) :o ;D ;) ;)LOL

i know i know, i just made the list from the one i have and i've been slackin one the handis for a while went back into bolt guns for a bit , but i feel a handi spree coming back. i have never had a 357 in a rifle , i love the pistol i have  but i think i just might need to get a new handi in 357 BUT i'm not getting the 30-30 i just can't bring my self to do it
