question for the handi-holics
« on: April 02, 2009, 09:01:24 AM »
I just ordered a frony sight for my 44 mag barrel but it doesn't come with a mounting bolt. What size screw do I need?  I know the rear sight takes a 6-48 but the front screw hole appears smaller and I don't have one that will fit it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's listed in the Peep and Firesights link in the FAQs, it's threaded 3-48.

Brownell's lists a front sight screw, dunno which it is tho since H&R switched back and forth, you could call them and ask, let us know what they say, (800)741-0015. You could also order it from H&R, (866)776-9292.
