OT The "NASTY" characters on this forum
« on: April 02, 2009, 08:17:44 AM »
I've been on the internet for a number of years, and I have never, ever, encountered a crew like this.  The H&R forums harbor the finest people on the web.  I've done a few trades and all were done with an I'll do this, you do that agreement.  No duplicity, no bickering.  Just  honest folk.  If someone wants to buy something I have for sale, I just send it.  I know the money's good when it comes out of this forum.

If anyone has a problem or a question, at least ten of you people jump in with proper solutions.

You're all my extended family.  Thank you for being here.

Pete

Okay Pete!  I stopped at the friendly neighborhood shim supplier on the way home and got a six pack of material.  As I opened this Brazilian item in my driveway I held it up high and said aloud "Pete, this shims for you!"  Happy Birthday!!  ;D

My neighbors think I'm kinda strange anyway...   ::)

Pete: Happy Birthday to you, and I hope you had a terrific time with your lady, the steak and all those shims. Just had one of those darned things (birthdays) myself, and it'll be a while until my beard grows back after the singeing it took blowing out all those candles.

You sure are right -- this is the best bunch I've come across on the digital side of the shooting world. I heard someone remark that you haven't really traded guns until you've lost a grand in a trade. That high-roller should leave the antique Parkers alone and have some real fun with H&Rs.
