Todd Vandermyde of the Illinois State Rifle Association Legislative Committee will appear tonight on WVON, AM 1690 at 9:00 PM CDT. Todd will be on the LaShawn Ford Show talking about, among other things, the ineffectiveness and inequities of the Daley Gun Control Package and the virtues of passing concealed carry here in Illinois.

Thanks for posting Jim.  I checked out the link on WVON, it comes in good.  I am out of range to hear it on the radio but the website works fine.  I hope Todd does well.

I listened to it.  Not surprisngly, nothing really changed or settled.  I believe Todd did well.  The host was more fair-minded than I expected.  He kept asking that the NRA stand with the gun violence victims' families "so we can all enjoy the 2nd amendment rights". Two lady legislators (?) sounded pretty ridiculous.  Some very good, articulate pro-gun callers.
