I was on the phone today with Burris Technical support, asking some questions and getting specs for a Ballistic Plex scope as I am contemplating purchasing a Fullfield II with ballistic plex for my 257 Wby. The ranges for the hash marks vary by caliber, and they have a ballistics program that can give you the ranges. So as he was inputting the info for my handload, he was guiding me through their site. They have a section for slugs which surprised me, and appeared to have tested all major sabot slugs, with range values for the hash marks on ballistic plex scopes. With the price of sabot slugs today, one could save a LOT of money testing slugs at ranges beyond 100 yards for drop, etc, with this scope. While I'm going to get one for the 257 Wby, I'm thinking that I need one even more for that slug gun I'm building(if I ever get it done).
