223 20 in superlight handloads 1 in 12 twist.

anyone out there got a pet load for the 223 superlight 1in12 twist? trying to get this thing to punching holes now that i have put my fitting tools away.thanks for your help.dj

This load works in every 223 I have tried it in.

26.5 grains of H4895 under a 50 gr Nosler BallisticTip.... 3340 fps

One of my pet .223 loads is 24.5gr of AA2300 and 50 gr v-max with cci primers. Both of my .223's love the AA2230 and it is some what more available around here ! The 40's shoot really well in my handi 1-12 also. I just like the extra authority the 50's have. Mark

You can also try some IMR3031 with 45-50gr bullets iv'e had great luck with this powder in 223's go to the load books for starting points. Kurt
