Thanks for the heads up.  I looked for a buffalo classic 45/70 and came up short.

It's real simple, just order it online and pay for it as you would normally for an online item, they'll require you to provide an FFL to ship it to, sometimes they have a list, sometimes your FFL will be on the list and they'll already have a copy of their license on file, if they don't, you'll need to have your FFL(dealer) send them a copy(fax or hard copy) of their license, they usually have a time limit on getting the process completed, so you need to make the arrangements with your FFL ahead of time so there's no delay, if you don't have an FFL that you use, you can find one on the locator link below, contact them and make sure they have a valid license and see how much they charge, the listings aren't always current.

You'd have to check with them, putting one in your basket would be the easiest way to find out, or call/email them. All of the online orders I've placed for H&R firearms have cost $18-$22 for shipping, but I haven't ordered from them.

Well, been wanting a 223 ultra fluted/ that 30-30 is a great deal/ did you see they have 7 of the CC 45LC.  Lots of meds to chose from.  I cant sleep, I was laying in bed thinking about them, and had to take another look.  I think I might be falling off the wagon again at these prices.......but I cant get that 45-70 SS ultra hunter out of my head either, and there is my dilemma.  No way I can afford all these meds.  Maybe Barrack can add them to the prescription drug plan ::)

Looks like they've added a 7mm-08 adult  to the add since last nite.  All I have to do is hit "submit secure offer" but I'm still waiting.....

Yuup, you did alright. You will have to pick up a scope rail and hammer extension. You can get them from H&R.

As carbineman said, it doesn't come with a scope rail or hammer extension, there are numerous scope rail options listed in the FAQs and Help sticky as well as more than one source for the factory scope rail and extension.  ;)

More than the 30-30s are gone, there were at least two rifles on the second page, now there's only one page.

Don't blame you for feeling the way you do, but right now it's a sellers market in the gun business anyway.

They can't keep the guns, and everything is selling as fast as they get them in and that's with anything gun related.

So they are overwhelmed, and there is another customer right behind you if you refuse to buy.

I've got a gun shop in the neighborhood that I didn't really like to go to as he was always a little high in price, but he always had what I needed.

Now he's still expensive, but doesn't always have what I need, and he has more business than ever, and the construction on the street in front of his place hasn't even slowed it down.

Hope it works out for you!
My culled down Handi's are the 45-70, and then I have a few others to keep it company...357 Mag/Max. .45 LC/.454 Casull Carbine, .243 Ultra, and 20 gauge Tracker II.

I paid for mine on the 27th also, and I think it was shipped today.  I've talked to the guy on the phone twice and he didn't strike me as overly friendly either time.  He wasn't rude, just not that friendly.

That happens when you're over worked and under paid, and maybe just glad to have a job.  :-\
