Think just a minute about what you bought and what you bought it for. The name is survival rifle. Bench rest, long distance, high capacity, military, show piece, safe queen, new in box, and mint condition may or may not help you survive where you need a firearm. Survival is a tough dirty world and things get beat up, bad. Most shooting is going to be under 100 yds. and in lousy conditions. First consideration the minimum number of moving parts. Will it work EVERY time you need it? Second, does the ammo have a wide enough spread to cover 90+% of anything you can imagine. You can really only shoot one kind of ammo at a time. Third, weight. If you can't pack it with you all the time everywhere, it won't be there when you need it. Fourth, can "YOU" shoot it almost instinctivly. If you can't master the weapon/ammo combination using basic muscle memory you aint gonna make it. Don't think about what you can or cannot hit or accomplish at any range or condition, practice until it is automatic and thinking is necessary only for that last split second only before you squeeze the last 1/4 inch.
Nothing else will let you surrvive, This I can swear to by the Ranger Badge tatooed on my backside.
