Nothing like a few pounds of black powder a cannon, some fuse and a little creative thinking. Looks like my kind of fun.

I can honestly say that i've never blown up anything that big............. yet......lol!

I'm voting 3rd party in this election by writing in Jesus Christ for president.  Sadly even if this were an option most of you would still vote Republican because "It's a two party system."

How do you think they did it? I see they have a cannon there. Do you think they fired into the basement where they had 20 or 30 pounds of gunpowder? I have no experince in such things and really don't have a clue as to how much gunpowder it would take to explode a house like that. Dale

I thought this was really cool also. It took 300 sticks of dynamite to do this. Yea it sure does look fun but the first video looks like a bunch of good old boys that just wanted to get rid if a house on their property. I am afraid the the ATF may want to have a talk with them. If you are going to do something like that don't put it out there on the internet. I think it's great but the ATF does not have a sense of humor in such matters. Dale

I'm not sure what it would take to make a house blow that that.  My guess is there was a home-made bomb in the basement.  The cannon was most likely for looks... 

I know personally that...

A)  IF there was that much black powder in that basement I wouldn't want to be holding the match to light the cannon fuse...

B)  Oxy-Acetalyne mixture tied off in a 55 gal. trash bag and shot w/ a roman candle makes a boom accompanied by a concussion that will knock the pictures off the wall of a house... or so i've heard  ::)

Dang what a waste 300 sticks. All that dynamite and they couldn't keep a few sticks to go fishing.  ;D
