Air cannons, punkin chuckers, etc.

   Some of us may like to see pics and discuss building air cannons, pumpkin chuckers, potato guns and other non powder propelled launchers. I think catapaults and other devices could be interesting also.
   I'm new here, but have been over at gunbroker for over 5 years. I'm willing to moderate, however if someone with more time here steps up to the plate, that's fine with me. heck... I'd definitely read it.  The World Championship Punkin' Chunkin' out on the DelMarva Peninsula was one of the best times I've ever had.  30,000 rednecks having a good old time in a field!

Earliest form of siege artillery so why not make a slot for (onagers trebauchets etc.)I must admit to having a specific interest as along with my model cannons I build these too.Air cannons etc. others can comment on I could live with a mixed forum.

   That's really what I had in mind. A mixed forum. I believe it differs from the "Exotic Weapons" forum enough to
warrant it's own place here. Heck, who doesn't get a kick out of a pumpkin sailing over a half mile? I've seen vids
from Europe, where they fling everything from cars to pianos. 
   Flinging dead livestock over the castle wall was the first use of bio-warfare. Not that I condone such, but history always teaches.
