99-375 Winchester Questions

Were these rifles made in BOTH the Brush Gun & Saddle Gun configuration.
How many 99-375's were produced?
What type of price do they command?
What years were the Brush/Saddle Guns produced?

1971- New model 99 added: Model 99A-a re-introduction of the saddle gun Model 1899A featuring plain straight-trip buttstock and forearm with old-style schnoble tip.

1977- New Model 99 added in straight stock brush-gun version along with the re-introduction of the .358 Winchester cartridge in the Savage Model 99 line.

1980- New .375 Winchester Big Bore cartridge added to the Model 99 Brush-gun.  Only offered one year in this model.  This Model 99 in .358 & .375 discontinued at the end of the year.

1981- The .375 Winchester chambering is added to the Model 99A Saddle Gun.

1982- The Model 99A Saddle Gun is discountinued at year's end.  It is the last of the straight-gripped Model 99s.
