Does anyone here have any experience with one of these??
I picked one up a number of years ago, with only the one cylinder. Something is amiss with it internally. Were they designed for the cylinder to freewheel on a half-cock, or when the loading gate is opened? Mine does not freewheel at all, hence "something is amiss".
The way I understand it, Dick Casull and another guy built them, they went seperate ways, Casull went ahead with his Freedom Arms, and NAA went to the mini-revolvers. Is this right??
Also, I have never had the chance to check out a Freedom Arms...do they also have the transfer bar built into the hammer like the NAA I have does?
My thoughts are, if the innards can be corrected, is to have it rabarrelled to .480 Ruger, with the cylinder being bored out to accomodate the new round. Opinions welcome!
Thanks,
Mark
