627-5 Performance Center
« on: February 11, 2009, 07:45:37 PM »
Picked up a brand new one today; never couldve justified buying one outright but got it in a trade that still has me scratching my head. All I can say is thank you Jesus! This is one sweet gun.

Just wanted to share my joy with some fellow S&W fans.

Nice aren't they? Mine's a five inch with the sweetest double action pull you can imagine.

Sounds like a really nice S&W. What load are you going to be running in it?

I have one. It is my favorite .357. Shoots everything well. I mostly shoot 125 Hornady XTP bullets, but I have tried some 165 lead WFN with Lil'Gun. Should work well where penetration is needed and shot into one hole. It also has about the sweetist double action trigger of any revo I have.

That's a good question. I've got a mixed bag of ammo to play with, and I'm starting to reload so I'm open to suggestions, particularly for heavy hunting loads.
