So Quick?
« on: February 08, 2009, 12:15:41 PM »
Hey Tim, What kind of response do you think will be needed to get a calibur choice looked at seriously by the folks at Rem?

I wonder how we could get the word out to more handie owners who don't attend forums like GBs or others?

Too bad they can't put something in every box about places like GBs.

The numbers of owners not represented here I am sure would make a bigger splash if heard from.

I tell everyone I know who likes outdoor sport of anykind about GBs, But I've limited pools to throw that rock in, Anybody have a suggestion about how to increase our ranks?

I sure wish our overseas friends weren't so limited by there goverments and could go at it with more gusto.

Just some thoughts to ponder. 8)

Just an observation, but I don't think there will be a lot of new calibers on the near horizon, as they are having fits trying to keep up with the demand now for existing orders, both due to the move, and the panic buying public since the fall elections.  JMHO!
My culled down Handi's are the 45-70, and then I have a few others to keep it company...357 Mag/Max. .45 LC/.454 Casull Carbine, .243 Ultra, and 20 gauge Tracker II.

Believe me, Remington is interested in increasing market interest in their products, I dunno what their corporate policy is on advertising, but they've been invited to become a sponsor here but so far nothing has become of it, at this time their participation here is anonymously thru me, but we can always hope that may change some day.  ;)

I hope they (Rem) do take an active part here.  I pump GBO to all my hunting and shooting friends.  I met an acquaintance in Newberry Friday and he had read some of my posts and figured from the location it had to be me.  He's still reading our forums, and he's seriously looking at Handis for his kids to learn on.

We all try to share the joy.  Help from Big Green would go a long way.

Der ain't nuttin on da U.P. lak da Handi Rifle ;)
