Cleaned my bench today....
« on: February 07, 2009, 12:56:20 PM »
With all the loading I have been doing lately I decided I needed to see the top of my loading bench. I needed more shelves to get there. My wife forbid me from building the shelves until Saturday, when my Pop could help me. So I picked up a dozen 1"X6"X8' Pine boards and a box of screws last week. (A kid loaded the truck and my neighbor unloaded it for me.  ;D)

I added a completely new unit on the right of the bench and increased the height of both the left and right side shelves. Now the shelves goe bench top to ceiling. More organized, more room overall, MUCH better!!!

Who would have known??  I just found this out today myself!!!  :D :D ;D ::)

Thanks guys.

I didn't do it all, not be a LONGSHOT. ::) ::) :D :D My pop did all the lifting, I just got to screw...it together.  ::)

I still need to organize the center shelves to be more efficient. but that's the easy part.

Cleaning off the top of a bench is such a silly thing to do. You KNOW you're just gonna mess it up again anyway so why bother?  :o

That is a great looking loading bench CW. Now sit there and relax a while while you heal completely. Spring is coming and comfortable shooting at the range will be here before you know it. Be sure to thank for father for his help and your wife for putting up with you while you heal....<><....:)

Bench ???  What bench ???.  Where'd mine go ??? ???

CW, ya know, sometimes it's a little good to get laid up a bit.  It seems we get to finally do things we've bin walkin around for months.  Who wants to organize stuff when you can shoot, hunt, fish, etc.  The older I get, the better organized I am.  I'm slowin' down on it though, 'cause I know the minute I get it all done, they're gonna spread my ashes out back.  Don't be in too much of a hurry :D

Its good to know the utz man!!  ::) :o

As for the "Heine" wipes.. At one time, one of the places I worked seemed the women's where having babies in rotation. This kept me in great, stackable boxes for YEARS!! I probably gave away twice what you see there on my shelf!!! They really work well for "normal" amounts of brass and the pretzel barrels are for those "Abby" normal amounts.  ;D ;D
