I was in my local Gun Shop this PM and in his display he had several H&R's. A few were (believe it or not) 1999 modles.
What caught my eye was that their were several that had a medallion for a/some (forgot) "Whitetail" Foundation 'inset' in the stock.

The 'Pallet-Wood' stock actually looked like maybe a "select Pallet" (without the forklift marks

) all in all a VERY nice looking rifle.
The rifle was in 45-70. There was also a "composit" material (black in colour) stocked one with a "Whitetail" medallion inset in the stock. Really nice rifles.
My question is:.....How many different types of these were ever made? I had never seen one before frankly. Anyway, thanks. Jim
