What scope for a Savage Sierra
« on: February 04, 2009, 10:16:14 AM »
I have just bought a new Savage Model 10FCM Sierra rifle with 20 inch barrel and synthetic stock in 308. The gun weighs in at around 6 1/2 pounds. My question is would you rather have a 2x7x35 compact scope on this gun or go with something like a full size 3x9x42?

I have the same rifle. Mine wears a 3X9X42 NIKON. It is one of my walk-around rifles. I hope you like yours as much as I like mine.
GOOD LUCK and GOOD SHOOTING!!!

I would buy one of these scopes to put on it...

1. Nikon Monarch
2. Nikon Buckmaster 3-9x4
3. Bushnell Elite 3200 3-9x40
