Accuracy trouble after fitting a barrel.

I fitted 2 barrels a few months back and neither are as accurate now as when they were on the original receiver factory fitted.  They seemed to lock up tight.  I checked it with feeler gauges for the lock up and it locked up tight on a .002 feeler gauge if memory serves me.  I am shooting different stocks and forearms since these are new receivers.  Where would you start trouble shooting?  I don't reload anymore and with the cost of ammo I cant afford to do alot of tuning and tinkering right now.

I've read the basics.  I was just wondering If you guys thing I need to refit the barrel or try the o-ring floating tips etc.

Depends on how it fits, a well fitted barrel will have zero gap tween barrel and standing breech, the more gap, the less accurate it can be. Tight on .002" is just a starting place, tight on aluminum foil it better.   But shooting it without the forend as described in the Handi 101 will tell you if the forend needs work.
