32 Special Leverevolution
« on: January 11, 2009, 03:02:57 AM »
i noticed Hornady has this ammo in 32 Special, although I haven't seen any in stores in my neighborhood( southern Kalifornia)....have any of you guys tried this stuff? My m94(1942) shoots the factory Super X Powerpoint pretty good...got it out yesterday..fired a couple to foul it...then got 3 rounds @ 2'' at 100 yds...that's with a Lyman tang sight. I know guys that can't do that with scoped rifles. anyway i'm good accuracy wise but i'll admit the possibility of getting 200fps more has me thinking....i haven't shot this gun much lately..it's actually kind of a hard kickin carbine and i don't have as much meat on my shoulder as i once did so i put a slip-on Limbsaver(small) on it...I used to put it away after 10 rds or so...i swear now i could shoot it comfortably all day..i highly recommend this recoil pad

I totally agree with ya on the Limbsaver pad, that is one product that really does what it advertizes.  A little spendy, but worth the price where heavy kickers are conserned.  Our local Wal-Mart has the small slip ons for under $19.00  DP
