I tried the Barnes TSX 225gr in the 357 Max, but I never got past the software stage because nothing could push it fast enough to stabilize that bullet. Too long (1.3") and not enough powder space left.

Grampa said it. It just doesn't have the powder capacity to get that bullet going fast enough for it to be a popular option. Of coarse, most of us are using them as a hunting caliber, not just a fun to shooting caliber.
I have shot some 200's, but the vast majority of my loads are the 170 and 180 gr weights followed by the 158/160's. As much as I love it and tote its greatness, I have to admit it has its limitations and performing with heavyweight bullets is its Achilles heel.
