USFA 12/22
« on: December 27, 2008, 03:01:53 PM »
Has anyone got any experience with this new release?.........Anybody read any gun test articles?
This is a new .22 cal 12 shot revolver, based on the Colt SAA frame and features. If you haven't heard of, or seen it, you can view it on the usfirearms.com web site.
Thanks in advance.

I feel another "need" coming on....................

Kind of interesting. It looks like a well made piece. A little too rich
for my blood though.

I think it would be neat.  My complaint with 'over 6 shot' .22s on any sized frame is that they usually also put as many flutes on the cylinder as it has chambers.  Then it begins to look silly.  But they do only have 6 flutes so that part is taken care of.  I do love my Bounty Hunter .22.  That is also a .22 on a full sized frame.  It's easy to load and unload and is super accurate.  And when that hammer drops, she doesn't even move in your hand.  44 Man

44Man,
I have to agree with the "multi fluted cylinders on most 6+shot  22 revolvers. That "original" look to the 12/22 is whats got me interested. I think I my find time tomorrow to take a ride to a gunshop, to look at one more closely. The only rock in the road here is,...... I've got a mint  Colt Diamondback 22/4", that I hardly ever use!.....I shoot it well too!

A old aquaintance once said........" You can never have too many 22's"..........That thinking thins my wallet at times too.
I'll let you know if I "give in" to the temptation.
