My Winchester Safari Express in .375H&H
« on: December 21, 2008, 04:55:40 PM »
I'm going to sell my .375 and wondered if anyone had an idea as to the best place to do so?  I regularly look at most of the on-line auction sites such as Guns International, GunBroker, Auction Arms and others, and have both bought and sold on several.

This particular rifle was intended to be my cast bullet, iron sight competition rifle.  It's a 100% reliable dangerous game gun, and will feed unloaded brass with no problem because of the inherent design features such as CRF and the cone breech.  I cannot however seat the correct weight cast bullets out far enough to optimize accuracy.

At one time I did mount a Leupold variable scope but it severely unbalanced the rifle.  With upgraded express iron sights however the factory low comb Monte Carlo stock allows instant alignment.  I'm not a hunter, but this rifle seems that it should belong to one who is.

Since this is already trending toward a classified and is in the wrong forum I'm locking it now.
