Bought my first pistol today, a M&P 9mm.  Any suggestions/accessories before taking it out to shoot?

Quality ear muffs, shooting glasses, lots of ammo and good trigger control.

Good to know!  I am already working towards buying a .45 down the road.  I love how the 9mm shoots.

I put a Crimson Trace laser on my M&P 45. I love the setup. Quick, sure and dead on target.
