Vermont hunt for Russian Boar
« on: December 08, 2008, 07:51:08 AM »
Went very well and six_gunz and I both scored. We met some very interesting and good people up there and had a ball. drdougrx and his pal Dave were there and both scored also. One hunter was a rep. with Thompson Center and had connections at S&W also. Not everyone was there for boar and most if not all hunters scored before we left Saturday around noon. drdougrx took two different trophies, one a good sized boar while his companion took a very nice trophy exotic deer. I took my .44 Mountain Gun but shot the boar with my Marlin .35 Remington.

They had the snow before we ever got there. Temps were cold(teens at night high of no more than 20 during the day). We hunted deep timbered ground so, we weren't uncomfortable. One of the guests bagged a coyote during our stay. No charge for these, they feel the same as most of us about coyotes? I had a great time!
