I know of three that are sub MOA shooters right out of the box... many guys on here also sing its praises.

I would say the chances are very good that your will also be a winner!!

savages sometimes insist on the 20 gr bullets. as a general rule all will shoot better thru a dirty barrel I have to shoot 1/2 box after cleaning to get the tight groups back needless to say it don't get cleaned very often.

That's music to my ears, cause I'm a filthy old slob.  Seriously I've found that true in a lot of my guns, especially muzzleloaders.

Merry Christmas, everyone.

I'm waiting for mine to get here. I hoping it will replace my 10/22 in our local club U.S.B.R. matches. I hope I'm not over estimating it's accuracy.

I shot this 5 shot group at 50 yards when I first got my 17 HMR Sportster. I had
a cheap Trashco scope on it. I just replaced it with a Mueller APV. I wouldn't be
too surprised if I could get a 5 shot group like this at 100 yards now if the wind
cooperates. I'll do a range report next time I go out.
